Pearl charged in GV stabbing death

Adam Keith Pearl Jr.

GOLDEN VALLEY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) continues investigating a Sept. 1 homicide in Golden Valley, and has released the name of the victim. Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Brandin Keith McAlister, 32, Golden Valley, died of stab wounds suffered in the area of Wingate Dr. and Halite Rd.

Deputies responding to the incident at 10:28 p.m. attempted in life-saving measures but McAlister succumbed to his injuries. Mortensen said deputies learned that Adam Keith Pearl Jr., 25, Golden Valley, had argued with McAlister before their verbal battle became physical.

Mortensen said Pearl and his girlfriend Chyane Alicia Teeples, 22, Kingman, fled the scene before deputies arrived. They were located by Kingman police officers the next morning.

Pearl was jailed at the Adult Detention Facility for second degree murder, armed robbery and theft of means of transportation. Teeples was booked on the vehicle theft charge.
