LHC honors anniversary of the 13 killed in Kabul attack

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Mayor Cal Sheehy announces Lake Havasu City is illuminating the London Bridge in red, white, and blue lights Monday night, August 26, to honor the anniversary of the loss of thirteen U.S. service members and other victims killed in the 2021 terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan.

“We honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation and for the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their selflessness and bravery will never be forgotten,” said Mayor Cal Sheehy.
