Eubanks charged in Golden Valley drive-by shooting

Martin Lee Eubanks

GOLDEN VALLEY – A Golden Valley man faces charges for allegedly firing a weapon at a home and a subsequent encounter with Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) personnel. No one was injured as events unfolded in Golden Valley late Monday, Aug. 19.

MCSO spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said deputies were called at 11:23 p.m. to a drive by shooting report at a residence in the 500 block of Eloy Road.

“The reporting party stated that her roommate’s boyfriend, identified as Martin Lee Eubanks, came to the residence and caused a disturbance,” Mortensen said. “When he left, Eubanks allegedly fired several rounds at the residence from his vehicle.”

Eubanks, 30, was reportedly located a short time later at another Golden Valley residence in tine 4000 block of Cordes Road. She said Eubanks surrendered a short time after SWAT team members and detectives responded.

Eubanks was transported to the Adult Detention Facility in Kingman and booked for aggravated assault, drive by shooting and disorderly conduct charges.
