Organizers plan protest in Havasu

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department is aware of the upcoming protest taking place in the community and has been in contact with the event organizer. 

The protest is planned for Saturday June 6 from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Lake Havasu Ave at McCulloch Blvd. N.   The organizer of the event is a Lake Havasu City resident and has provided information to the city about the planned peaceful protest.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department will be monitoring the event to ensure the safety of everyone involved.  We are expecting a peaceful protest and would like the community to know that we will be at the location to ensure our citizens, our rights and our properties are safeguarded.

There have been false rumors that continue to spread on social media.  Please fact check any rumors you may hear and do not spread false information.   If you have information you feel would be important for the police department to know, there are a number of ways to notify our department. Please do not call 9-1-1 unless you have an emergency.

Citizens can utilize Havasu Silent Witness’ anonymous text messaging service by texting your message to “CRIMES” or 274637. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through a web page based tip service at www.tipsoft.com or via the “TipSubmit” mobile application. Anyone using Android, Windows or Apple platforms can download the LHCPD app and submit a tip through the app as well.
