Golden Valley Fire District Fire Chief David Cunningham administers the oath during the swearing-in ceremony to Kevin Gifford upon his promotion from engineer to captain at the recent GVFD board meeting. Captain Gifford began his employment with GVFD during September 2011 and was previously was a firefighter with Pinion Pines Fire District prior to being employed by GVFD. He is the GVFD Wildland Coordinatitor and runs the pay on call and volunteer firefighters programs.
