Havasu Regional Medical Center names Jennifer Perales 2019 Mercy Award Winner

Jennifer Perales recognized for demonstrating compassion and unwavering commitment to helping others

Jennifer Perales

HRMC recently announced that Jennifer Perales has been recognized as the hospital’s 2019 Mercy Award winner. The Mercy Award recognizes one employee from each of LifePoint Health’s hospitals who profoundly touches the lives of others and best represents the spirit and values on which the company was founded.

The Mercy Award is an annual recognition program established in 2001 to honor the life and contributions of Scott Mercy, LifePoint’s founding chairman and chief executive officer. The award is the highest honor a LifePoint employee can receive.

“At HRMC, we share LifePoint’s commitment to Making Communities Healthier, and we recognize this is supported by the good work and service of our employees on and off the job,” said Michael Patterson, CEO of HRMC. “We are extremely proud to recognize Jennifer Perales for her efforts on behalf of our patients and our community. She goes above and beyond each and every day to ensure that every person she encounters receives the highest level of care and compassion.”

Ms. Perales has energetically used her talents and resources to serve our patients, providing excellent care. She has a passion for caring for our community and is said to be the backbone of the Havasu Regional Community Involvement Team. She has been instrumental in coordinating and organizing hospital wide food drives, clothing drives, and many other types of community events. The Mercy Award is looking for an individual that embraces the humanitarian spirit of which LifePoint was founded, an individual that is dedicated to our mission of making communities healthier and that’s just what Jennifer Perales reflects as an employee and as the Chairman of HRMC’s Community Involvement (CIT) Team.

Each hospital winner, including Jennifer Perales, will be considered for LifePoint’s 2019 companywide Mercy Award. The companywide winner will be announced this summer and honored during a ceremony in Nashville, Tenn., in August, to which Jennifer and all hospital winners are invited to attend.
