Andy Devine (Route 66) lane closed in downtown Kingman

KINGMAN – The right outside lane will be closed to eastbound traffic along Andy Devine Avenue (Route 66) from 4th Street to 5th Street for the installation of groundwater monitoring wells. Western Technologies will be installing the monitoring wells for the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality to address potential contamination and to protect the groundwater. The lane closures/restrictions began Monday morning, April 26, and will be in place for approximately one week. Business access will be provided for the duration of construction.

The City of Kingman urges the importance of maintaining safe and smart driving habits during the construction season, and at all times, when operating a motor vehicle.

Up-to-date street or lane closures and detours are located on the City of Kingman’s engineering website page of interactive Maps through the city’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS): https://www.cityofkingman.gov/government/departments/engineering/gis
