Free COVID-19 saliva testing Friday

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City is offering a free outdoor drive-thru COVID-19 saliva testing event in the parking lot of the city’s Aquatic Center this Friday, October 2 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The COVID testing, requires pre and/or onsite registration, and, is being offered by Arizona State University, in partnership with the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Participants can pre-register prior to Friday’s testing using the agency code: SALIVATEST. However, pre-registration is not required in order to participate in the testing.

Testing is open to anyone regardless of whether they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. You are notified of your personal COVID-19 test results within 24 to 48 hours.

On the day of the testing event, please enter the drive-thru at the Aquatic Center as directed and stay in your vehicle. Appointments are scheduled to ensure the testing process runs smoothly.
