Construction within the Valle Vista subdivision

Dear Editor,

Valle Vista Property Owners Association, Inc. is governed by our CLRs and By-Laws. Valle Vista is within Mohave County. Valle Vista has several requirements for construction that may be additional to those of Mohave County. To construct within Valle Vista, each builder must obtain a copy of the CLRs and By-Laws.

The following requirements and procedure must be followed in addition to all federal, state and local building requirements.

  1. 1.Pick up copy of CLRs and By-Laws at the administration office at the club house building.
  2. 2.Obtain a Mohave County building permit from Mohave County Development Services.
  3. 3.Return to Valle Vista administration offices to obtain a Valle Vista POA permit. There is no fee for this permit. In order to obtain the permit, the builder must submit:
  4. A.A full-size set of plans bearing a Mohave County building permit stamp of approval.
  5. B.A set of specifications for materials and equipment together with any special architectural or engineering requirements for the lot or structure. This includes an exterior materials and architectural features schedule that will require approval from Valle Vista.
  6. C.A copy of the Mohave County building permit.
  7. 4.Valle Vista will require that the builder maintain a bin with a top to avoid windblown debris. lA temporary porta-poddy, if required, shall be placed in an area of the project that is out of sight to street traffic and adjoining property as much as possible.
  8. 5.The Valle Vista Architectural Compliance Committee will make site visits at least two to three times to observe the architectural components and compare them to the approved construction plans for compliance with the architectural features.

Observation of the construction by Valle Vista does not constitute nor is it intended as acceptance of any item of work of any nature whatsoever.
