Drug transport nets 5 years in prison

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City man resolved his criminal case in expedited fashion Wednesday, August 19. David Davenport, 41, was sent to prison for five years after entering a plea agreement.

The sentence was mandated in the plea deal convicting Davenport of transportation of narcotic drugs for sale. Prosecutor Jacob Cote said authorities confiscated more than nine grams of heroin from Davenport following a February 1 traffic stop on Bahama Drive.
