We will see many non-answers during crisis

Dear Editor,

Another example of (don’t expect an answer if you ask a conservative a question they can’t, or one for which they do not have an answer), was on full display this past week. When reporter Peter Alexander asked President Trump, during a presidential briefing, “What do you say to Americans who are watching you right now who are scared?” Trump responded, “I say you are a terrible reporter, that’s what I say.”

Please compare our President’s crude response to President Obama’s 2009 refined answer when South Carolina’s Republican Congressman Joe Wilson yelled, “you lie.” Instead of denigrating the congressman, Obama continued, “There are also those who claim that our reform effort will insure illegal immigrants.”

This is just a personal opinion, but I’ll bet we see many more non answers before this current crisis is over.
