2020 Census discussed at Rotary

Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s February 28 speaker was Kingman City Manager Ron Foggin (shown with Rotarian Becky Fawson and club president Karen Brown). Foggin presented a power point presentation on the upcoming 2020 Census.

Noting the 2010 census had many undercounts, this year’s census will offer three ways to participate. Post cards are being mailed out to 95% of residents and these will give you the option of calling in or going online to be counted.

Those without mailing addresses will be contacted at their residences. It’s simple and not time consuming as only 7 questions are asked in the census. Being counted is important, as the City of Kingman receives $400 per person per year based on census figures.
