2nd annual Replenish and Restore 5K, 10K to be held at Hualapai Mountain Park

KINGMAN — The Hualapai Mountain Park 2nd Annual Replenish and Restore 5k and 10k walk/run will be held on April 26 this year. The route features views of Hualapai Mountain Park, with elevation gains of over 530 feet. The walk/run will encompass the whole developed park with the race running through Pine Basin, Recreation Area #1, Recreation Area #2, Summer Camp Loop and Cabin Loop.

All proceeds from the walk/run go to the purchase of trees and native brush to replenish the park after the devastating Flag Mine fire that occurred in 2021, burning more than 1,400 acres.

All ages are welcome, but minors under age 18 must have a parent or guardian present throughout the entire duration of the event. Leashed dogs are okay for this race but they must stay on a leash the entire time.

Awards ceremony will be held once winners have crossed the finish line and their times have been validated. Awards for overall 1st-3rd place male and female based on age groupings.

Entry fee is $35 for both the 5K and the 10K. Virtual 5k/10k $35.00. Entry fee includes a T-shirt and a SWAG bag.

The event begins on Saturday at 9 a.m at Hualapai Mountain Park, located at 6250 Hualapai Mountain Road in Kingman. For more information visit https://runsignup.com/Race/AZ/Kingman/HMPReplenishRace.
