Walk Away from Drugs event set in BHC

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police and Fire Departments will hold the annual Walk Away from Drugs and 5K run on Wednesday, October 23rd to celebrate Red Ribbon Week.

This year’s event will now feature a Poster Contest, giving young artists the opportunity to show off their talents while also taking a stand against drugs. This poster contest component will help us convey our event’s drug prevention significance and also give children a chance to get creative with anti-drug messaging!

Morales arrests for discharging firearm

KINGMAN – No one was injured during a household gunfire incident early Sunday in Kingman. Police responded at 1:50 a.m. to a report of a man firing a weapon during a disturbance at a residence in the 900 block of Beverly Ave. Kingman Police Chief Rusty Cooper said arriving officers encountered a number of subjects who had been drinking.
