Allo aerial line placement scheduled

KINGMAN, Ariz. – Allo Communications will be conducting aerial work on Stockton Hill Road, at the intersection of Stockton Hill Road and Beverly Avenue. This work will begin on Friday, June 28th at 3:00 a.m. and continue until 7:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28th. During the work hours, there may be intermittent closures on Stockton Hill Road to allow the crews to perform their work. The City encourages the public to be aware of construction workers in the area and to follow directions from flaggers that will be on site in order to provide a safe working environment for workers, the motoring public, and pedestrians.

Arizona Electric Power Cooperative/Mohave Electric Cooperative postpone meeting to discuss proposed Mohave Valley facility

MOHAVE COUNTY – Arizona Electric Power Cooperative (AEPCO/MEC) has requested that their applications for an amendment to the Mohave County General Plan be postponed.  The issue involves the company’s application going from a Suburban Residential Area land use designation to an Urban Development Area land use designation and a Rezone from an A-R (Agricultural Residential) zone to an M-X (Heavy Manufacturing) zone for a portion of Assessor’s Parcel No. 225-09-052.

Rotary donates to cheer team

KINGMAN – Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club recently donated $300 to Kingman Academy High School’s cheerleading team for their camp this summer. Accepting the check were Alyssa Williams/head coach, Trinity Sherwood/assistant coach and cheerleaders Tayler Salisbury, Kenzie Coffin and Sophia Meredith.
