KINGMAN – The Kingman Terminal Railroad (KGTR) that operates within the Kingman Airport Industrial Park is increasing its business activity since its start in 2017. It connects Industrial Park tenants with the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe railway.
Chuck passed away June 4, 2024, surrounded by his wife and loving friends. He was 80 years
old. Chuck was a native of Arizona having been born to parents Charles and Ethel King on
February 23, 1944, in Phoenix, AZ. He attended Simis Elementary School and Central High
School in Phoenix.
The Bureau of Land Management has announced an $11.1 million cooperative agreement with the Foundation for America’s Public Lands, BLM’s official charitable partner, to improve drought resilience in the Colorado River Basin. The funding is being invested through the Inflation Reduction Act under the Biden-Harris Administration’s Investing in America agenda.
KINGMAN – Kingman Regional Medical Center’s (KRMC) Kids Day took place this weekend in a fun-filled community get-together, promoting health in our newest generations for over 40 years.
Saturday, June 15, more than 40 vendors brought the Kingman community together at the annual KRMC Kids Day, encouraging kids around Mohave County to make good health choices in a fun and inviting environment.
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Some of the most recently completed projects with Public Works were shared at last week’s city council meeting. Improvements such as the rehabilitation for wells 10 and 12 which are needed for Havasu’s water supply, the improved Site Six boat launch, and several other new developments with Public Works were shared at the meeting.
Judith Mae Kerr, of Kingman, died Monday, June 17, 2024. She was 87. Mrs. Kerr was born May 1, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI.
