MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College is gearing up for its 53rd Commencement Ceremony to be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 10 at the Anderson Fieldhouse, 3663 Bullhead Pkwy. MCC students in the class of 2023-2024 will earn 591 certificates and 418 degrees for a total of more than 1,000 degrees and certificates, with 772 students between the ages of 15 and 76, and 60 students are 18 or younger. LAKE HAVASU CITY – A variety of activities for children were shared yesterday at the Kids on the Colorado River’s very first community day! The nonprofit’s event took place on Sunday, May 5 at the Aquatic Center. KINGMAN – The KRMC Foundation will host its annual Mary Chan’s Route 66 Race for Hospice on Saturday, May 11. The first race will begin promptly at 7:15 a.m. Proceeds from this event will help fund the ongoing operating expenses of the Joan & Diana Hospice Home in Kingman. The hospice home provides end-of-life care to individuals and offers respite services to their families.
