KINGMAN – Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the top nominees for the 2024 Andy Awards, honoring those who have made exceptional contributions to the betterment of the Kingman community. These awards celebrate the legacy of Andy Devine, a true hometown legend, and recognize outstanding individuals, businesses, and organizations across multiple categories.
Below are the top nominees in each category.
Student of the Year: Emmalynn Faris, Sophia Meredith, Maysen Victory, Joseph Tadlock, and Bella Zietz.
Citizen of the Year: Bob DeVries, Julie Gragg, Butch and Chris Meriwether, Traci Thode Jackson, Nancy Moschau, Leah Stagg, Kelly Tanner.
Educator of the Year: Jerry Arave, Eric Oestmann, Kathy Scroggins, Tyffnee Stewart, Tony Victory, Kristy Wicks.
Organization of the Year: Kingman Moose Lodge #1704, KRMC Volunteers, Soroptimist International of Kingman, 928 Pinup Dolls, Feral Cat Warriors, Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter, Kingman Cares, Kingman Unified School District.
Business of the Year: Cerbat Dental Group, Enhanced Electric, The Canvas, It’s Fire.
Lifetime Achiever: Jack Alexander, Mary Chan.
Most Improved Commercial Property: Allo Fiber, City of Kingman Downtown Streetscape, High Five Meadery.
Public Service Award: Anna Anderson, Robert Kirby, Danielle Lagana, Cengiz Arik, Robert Ballard, Travis Lingenfelter, Thomas Price.
Business Person of the Year: Marsha Durfee, Danni Owens, Tiffany Ridenour.
