Animal Care & Welfare making a difference in the Bullhead community

Bullhead City Animal Care & Welfare (ACW) and T.L.C. (Tender Loving Care) Veterinary Services continue to make a difference in the community by providing affordable vaccine and animal wellness clinics for pet owners. From July 2018 to May 2019,veterinarian services were provided to 729 pet owners and administered 1,523 vaccinations. (521 rabies, 446 distemper/parvo, 431 bordetella, 67 feline distemper, and 58 leukemia). The clinics also provided deworming medication for 379 animals, inserted 75 microchips, and performed 14 wellness exams. “Residents should take advantage of these low cost clinics where services are performed by a licensed veterinarian,” said Bradley Oliver, Support Services Division Manager…
