260 nonprofit arts organizations, festivals, and education programs awarded grants The Arizona Commission on the Arts, an agency of the State of Arizona, announced that over $2.63 million has been awarded to nonprofit arts organizations, festivals, and education programs throughout the state. Big Industrial, LLC., a National Industrial Real Estate Investment Firm has acquired the 620,000 sq. ft. Knauf Insulation Facility located in the Kingman Airport Industrial Park and will offer it for lease to regional and national firms. Bat netting workshops come to Verde River July 26, Sept. 6

Bats get a bad rap, but the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) aims to change that by highlighting the good they do – such as eating pesky mosquitoes and flies – during a series of bat netting and monitoring workshops July 26 and Sept. 6.
