Fogging update: surveillance leads to adult mosquito control

Mohave County, AZ.  Mosquito surveillance conducted this week by the Mohave County Environmental Health Division (MCEHD) revealed the following locations that met the protocol to conduct fogging. The MCEHD uses the CDC’s recommended matrix as a guide of when to fog.   FOGGING: Adult mosquito control application will begin on Thursday evening July 18th around 8:00 p.m., weather permitting and continue throughout the night. Baron Pest Control was awarded the contract to provide fogging services within Mohave County and will be conducting the ground fogging application. Areas in Mohave Valley to fog include: · Laguna Road from Mountain View Road to Vanderslice Road and south to Maverick Drive. This…

Richter will spend four months in jail

A Lake Havasu City woman expressed bewilderment at her July 10 sentencing hearing in Kingman. 58-year-old Donna Richter told the Court that she felt more like a victim than a defendant. The retired registered nurse previously pleaded guilty to taking the identity of another in a deal dismissing six forgery counts and two theft charges. Her attorney Adam Cirzan explained Richter agreed to house sit and pay bills for a Lake Havasu man who had to do jail time in an assault case.
