2019 fall hunt draw results now available

Hunters can check portal account, or by phone

The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) has completed its random draw for 2019 fall hunts.

To check draw results for the deer, fall turkey, fall javelina, bighorn sheep, fall bison, fall bear and sandhill crane seasons, applicants should sign into their free AZGFD portal account or call the department’s automated telephone system at (602) 942-3000, pressing “2” and following the prompts. Be prepared to provide a Social Security or Department ID number, and date of birth.

To open a portal account, visit https://accounts.azgfd.com/Account/Registerand complete the required fields. A portal account allows customers to create a secure account where they can view and manage their contact information, as well as their licenses, draw results history and bonus points in their personal “My AZGFD Dashboard” section. For questions about creating a portal account, call the department at (602) 942-3000 and press “7.”
By the numbers:

  • 51,503: The total number of hunt permit-tags issued.
  • 162,700: The total number of those who applied for hunts or bonus points (99 percent of all applicants applied online).
  • 123,296: The total number of applications submitted (paper and online).

All hunt permit-tags are scheduled to be mailed by July 31; all refund warrants by July 20.

For those who were unsuccessful in the draw process, a list of about 2,000 leftover hunt permit-tags will be posted at https://www.azgfd.gov/draw. AZGFD will announce on its website and social media channels when the list becomes available.

AZGFD will accept applications for leftover hunt permit-tags – by mail only – beginning July 22. Leftover hunt permit-tags will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis at all department offices beginning July 29.
