Mohave County Sheriff Doug Schuster has announced the formation of a Sheriff’s Advisory Council.
This group of individuals was selected by Sheriff Schuster and his staff. The group meets monthly with the Sheriff’s Office Command Staff to discuss agency concerns and share life experiences with the intent of problem solving many issues that arise.
Sheriff Schuster is very appreciative of these men and women who volunteer their time solely for the betterment of our communities. The Sheriff realizes the importance of such a “think tank” and greatly values the wide spectrum of knowledge. Sheriff Schuster is a strong believer in community involvement and bases his vision statement and working model on providing top notch service in a professional and courteous manner. He believes the public expects and deserves such treatment and the Sheriff is driven to change the culture at the Sheriff’s Office.
The men and women on the Council offer a great range of perspective and aid the Sheriff’s Office in keeping a pulse on the community. Sheriff Schuster had the following to say about the Advisory Council, “These men and women are wonderful, community orientated individuals who have excelled in their individual fields. Having the ability to address our concerns using different strategies and points of view is dynamic and impactful and I am continually amazed at the depth of knowledge and experience within the group. We are making great strides in unifying ourselves with those we serve, but as Sheriff, I cannot fix a problem if I am not aware the problem exists”.
