MCC’s honor society donates talent show proceeds to community animal shelters

Phi Theta Kappa-Alpha Chi Omega donates $500 to the Humane Society of Mohave County. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society – Alpha Chi Omega chapter on the Kingman campus donated $500 each to the Humane Society of Mohave County and Mutt Matchers & Friends in Kingman. Donations were collected from the chapter hosting Talent Shows the previous two spring semesters on the Kingman Campus.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is an internationally recognized honor society for community college students. PTK’s mission is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students by providing an opportunity for leadership, service, and development.

The College is currently enrolling students for the fall semester 8-week classes which start Oct. 14. Registration for the 2025 spring and summer semesters opens Oct. 21. New and returning students are encouraged to get started by visiting Mohave.edu/Admission.
