KINGMAN – Kingman Republican Women (KRW) will host Thomas Horne on Monday, October 2 at their general meeting which is open to the public. Horne is the State Superintendent of Pubic Instruction. After 24 years as a school board member and four years as a legislator, Horne served as the elected Superintendent of Public instruction from 2003 to 2011 and was elected to another term in 2023. He served in the Arizona House of Representatives and served as Special Assistant Attorney General and Judge Pro Tem in Maricopa County Superior Court and the Arizona Court of Appeals. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
KRW’s second speaker will be Shawn Meisner who is running for the Mohave County Board of Supervisors representing District 1. Meisner is a Republican constitutional conservative, a Navy veteran and local ranch owner.
KRW meets on the first Monday of each month. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the meeting begins at 1 p.m. Meetings are held at the College Park Church Community Center, 1990 Jagerson Avenue (facing Van Nuys). Meetings are open to the public and membership is not required. There is a $3 fee to cover the cost of the meeting room. Lunch will not be served but you can bring your own if you choose.
