KINGMAN – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Kingman Field Office has completed an environmental assessment and is seeking public comment on the proposed Arizona Silver Exploration US, Inc (ASE) Philadelphia Exploration Project. The proposed exploration drilling project is located approximately 7.5 miles east of Bullhead City along the west side of the Black Mountains in Mohave County.
An exploration plan submitted by ASE to the Kingman Field Office includes plans to conduct a phased exploration drilling program and up to 0.34 acres of surface disturbance. Activities would include the construction of up to two 50-by-50-foot drill pads, drilling up to 20 core holes from each pad, regrading up to 600 feet of an existing access routes (including widening the access routes to approximately 15-feet). Staging areas would be located on patented/private lands and are not included in this analysis of the proposal. Reclamation would commence as soon as practicable following drilling program completion, approximately 3 to 15 months afterwards depending upon results.
