Whether you believe it or not, the universe doesn’t revolve around us. All creation revolves around the all-powerful, sovereign GOD. The Bible tells us that “the heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” (Psalm 19:1) Last night I had the opportunity to view what the naked eye cannot see via a very powerful telescope. The only word that comes to mind is indescribable, which also applies to the creator.
Our GOD has revealed Himself to us, not only through creation, but has given mankind a special revelation called the scriptures, or the Bible. According to the Bible, man knows in his heart that God exists. Yet, because man is sinful, he suppresses the truth and knowledge of God.
God’s creation should cause man to worship God, but man has been separated from God by sin farther than the farthest star. Man is unable to walk with the very God who created him. The only way to restore that relationship is through Jesus Christ.
