Public invited to observe ballot tabulation equipment testing

KINGMAN – A test of the ballot tabulation equipment and programs for the July 30 Mohave County Primary Election will take place on June 27 at 9 a.m. by the Mohave County Elections Department. A separate test will also be conducted by the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office at 2:35 p.m. on that date. The location of the tests is the Mohave County Election Department, 700 W. Beale, Kingman. It will be open to the press and the public.

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The London Bridge Republican Women (LBRW) monthly dinner will be held on Monday, July 1, at Shugrues Bridgeview Room. Check in is at 5 p.m. with dinner and the meeting at 6 p.m.
This month’s guest speakers are candidates for Mohave County Sheriff incumbent Doug Shuster and Mike Gannuscio; candidates for Mohave County Board of Supervisors District 3 incumbent Buster Johnson and Sonny Borelli. Special guest attendee will be AZGOP Chairman Gina Swoboda.

Nearly 200 shuttered 99 Cents Only stores from Texas to California will be re-opened as Dollar Tree locations after the leases were secured out of bankruptcy proceedings.
The transfer of designation rights for 170 locations in Texas, Arizona, Nevada and California, along with some of the furniture, equipment and fixtures inside, was approved by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
