People watching (and listening) is a very revealing open window into today’s culture. That is not to say it is gratifying in any way. I am saddened by what I see and hear on the street, in stores and in many other public places.
I have been following, as best I can, the issue of the AI power centers projected for Mohave County, and the many complications to be seen therein. I am told that the power requirement number is astounding.
Since I have been around this old world for more than eighty five years, I feel entitled to make some comments about today’s world.
I was recently approached by a small delegation of people stating that they are frightened by the ceaseless friction and fear mongering in the American political arena.
Just when I think I’ve heard it all, up pops the Failed State of California with more Lunacy.

Since most of my letters begin in a negative spirit, I’d like to start this one in a positive vein.
I sincerely offer my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Development Services Director Scott Holtry, Public Works Director Steve Latoski, the Mohave County Public Land and Recreation Advisory Commission, and the Mohave County Supervisors for their combined actions to oppose and prevent yet another underhanded resource grab against the hapless citizens of Mohave County.
