BULLHEAD CITY – The Colorado River Union High School District governing board will hold a special meeting tonight, Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. to discuss and possibly vote on graduation plans for the Class of 2000 at the District’s three high schools.
Several options were discussed at Tuesday night’s regular board meeting. Those included a traditional graduation at CRUHSD’s Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse, a traditional graduation at the Fieldhouse with capacity limits, a virtual graduation and a drive-through graduation on each campus.
Preliminary results of an online SurveyMonkey poll about graduation preferences were also shared. There will not be a call to the public because of the previous opportunity by stakeholders (primarily graduating seniors and their families) to participate in the online survey.
The agenda is available at https://go.boarddocs.com/az/cruhsd2/Board.nsf/Public . Because of ongoing COVID-19 restrictions at CRUHSD offices, the meeting room remains closed to the public, but members of the public may view a YouTube live stream at https://youtu.be/7StbnHI0__o .
The three schools affected are Mohave and CRUHSD Academy High Schools in Bullhead City, and River Valley High School in Mohave Valley.
