KINGMAN – Kingman Mayor Jen Miles has been notified that signatures on petitions proposing her recall from office have been validated by the Mohave County Recorder’s Office. Miles said the office has determined that the petitions bear 1,512 valid signatures, 128 more than the minimum number required to qualify the question.
Recall leader James Coffman said he initiated the recall last September largely in protest of the municipal mask mandate that was in effect at that time.
Miles said she has until May 11 to resign, consider legal options or declare candidacy in a recall election that she’s been told would be scheduled Aug. 3. She said she will definitely not step down.
“I am not going to resign. I never intended to,” Miles said. “I’m proud of the accomplishments that we’ve made over the years and want to continue moving this city forward. My resolve is strengthened.”

What an insane bunch of nonsense. Yes, Jen is obsessed with the interchange, but the mask mandate saved lives, no one should be recalled for that. What pro-virus candidate will run?
I do not believe she should be removed on the grounds of the mask mandate!
