Dear Editor,
As I write this, our beloved America is in the throes of a revolution. This revolution resembles almost none of the scenarios that have been seen in Hollywood’s blood and guts or political intrigue presentations.
What we are facing is wholesale hatred being illustrated by people who hate this country for their own sick, perverted reasons. Do they hate the freedom of speech our constitution guarantees, and that permits them to spew the most heinous, vitriolic filth with complete immunity from retribution? Do they hate the support system taking care of the truly poor people who have to rely on the generosity of our society to house them, feed them, educate them and medicate them? Do they hate the protection of the first amendment protecting free speech, the amendment they hide behind as they destroy businesses, and burn buildings, and loot stores, and kill the jobs of the people who were employed there?
This line of thought could be followed down many ugly avenues, but to what avail? Logic and reason and rational thought can easily expose the what of it, but not the why. The why is shrouded in obfuscation and political dogma and mis-direction. It is very easy to say “that bunch did it because they believe in getting something for nothing”. It is frequently heard that it is because “They are oppressed”. It is often attributed to “the righting of past wrongs”.
I believe the vast majority of this turmoil and anguish can be laid at the feet of the uber-rich, and the soulless Hollywood types, and the entrenched politicians, and the endless sea of faceless bureaucrats, and the blatant ideological spew from the Communists.
- The uber-rich, who are said to have clawed their way up from poverty and hunger………because of the very capitalist system they now curse and revile.
- The Hollywood phonies, who are merely sycophantic, empty excuses for people, who can be made pretty and can remember their lines.
- The lifelong politicians, who have never held a job in real life and have never contributed anything positive to society, yet they go into public service at very moderate rates of salary and, lo and behold, they come out very wealthy.
- Then there are the bureaucrats, who keep their grey, colorless little lives quiet and shuffle papers all day, doing essentially nothing. They try to be invisible and un-noticed until they reach that fat retirement they live for.
- Lastly, there are the Communists, the Marxists, the Socialists, the Progressives, etcetera, who have been working to the same playbook for more than a hundred years. They are at least honest in their aims, even as they lie their breath away to fool the people they promise to liberate from their slavery, shackles, oppression, and so on.
These groups are the cesspools from which the noise (and lots of it!) emanates about the New World Order, and the Green New Deal and the Abolition of the Police, Universal Minimum Wage, Free Everything for Nothing, etcetera.
These very same people who spout this manure live in luxurious circumstances with no fear of ever losing their very secure position in our society. They don’t mind if you lose your income or your home because of their rabble-rousing and their encitement to riot, arson, looting and insurrection, because they are safe and secure where they are. They are the politicians who gladly flip-flop from side to side on any issue and leave the ordinary citizen in the lurch.
This treasonous revolution will destroy America……unless we “deplorables “ get off our butts and vote our conscience.
