Sergio E. Guzman, of Kingman, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2021. He was 54. Mr. Guzman was born May 12, 1967 in Yuma, Ariz. Visitation is Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 8 and 9 from 5 to 7 p.m at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home in Kingman, with a viewing Sept. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. The family contact is his wife Maritza Guzman. Arrangements were made by Sutton Memorial Funeral Home.

Falls Prevention Day is Sept. 23

WACOG volunteer coordinator Melinda Kemp accepts a proclamation Tuesday evening, Sept. 3, from City of Kingman Mayor Jen Miles. The document proclaims “Falls Prevention Awareness Day” to be Monday, Sept. 23. WACOG, in conjunction with other area agencies will host a fall prevention event on that day at the Kingman Community Center, 3345 Harrison St. The event is open to the public. Medication checkups, blood pressure screenings, and falls prevention assessments will be provided.
