The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) is looking for help from the public in identifying and locating two vehicles involved in a deadly hit-and run collision in the Mohave Valley area on Wednesday, Oct. 28. The name of the 66-year-old pedestrian from Fort Mohave who was killed is currently withheld.

DPS spokesman Bart Graves said the victim had been in a taxicab before asking the driver to pull over and let her out. He said the woman was struck and killed about 10:37 p.m. in the vicinity of milepost 227 on Highway 95.

“The suspect vehicle is described as a 1998-2005 white Mercedes Benz M-class SUV,” Graves said. “Troopers are also looking for a second vehicle believed to be involved.”

Graves said witnesses described the second vehicle as a dark-colored, dually-style truck of an unknown make and model. Anyone with information is urged to call the Kingman DPS office (928-753-5551) or submit a tip online (www.aszdps.gov/tips).
