KINGMAN – A COVID-19 outbreak has been confirmed at the White Cliff’s Senior Living facility in Kingman. Eight residents and five staff members at the care center on Western Avenue have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to Vicki Doyle, Public Relations Manager for the Watermark Retirement Communities which also operates the Joshua Springs facility in Bullhead City.

Doyle said four other staff members have been isolated from the facility in Kingman, due to COVID-19 symptoms.

Doyle said the company has been partnering with CVS to prepare to administer vaccines in dozens of other facilities it operates around the country. She said the firm may instead work with the National Guard in Kingman, because it might be able to fast track the process.

“We are eagerly awaiting the final dates and details of our vaccination clinics at White Cliffs Senior Living and working closely with the Mohave County Health Department,” Doyle said. “As soon as we hear whether the clinics will be conducted by the National Guard or Omnicare/CVS we will provide the details to our residents and associates.”

Doyle said the White Cliffs team stands ready to provide necessary staging and communication to ensure a smooth vaccination process.
