MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Wednesday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of ten new COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County and two COVID-19 related deaths.

The two deaths are of a 55-64 year age range person, in the Kingman service area, who is a previously identified case, linked to another confirmed case and an 86+ individual in the Lake Havasu City Service Area, also a previously identified case.

Eight of the ten new positive cases are from the Kingman service area. Seven of them are in isolation, recovering at home and linked to another case. They represent different age groups.  One is in the 0-18 age range; one is in the 30-39 age range; two are 40-49; one is 50-59 age range; one is 60-69 age range; one is 70-79 age range.  The final Kingman case is a 50-59 age range person, who is hospitalize and is linked to another case.

The final two new cases are both in the Bullhead City service area.  Both are 40-49, one is in isolation recovering at home, and is not linked to another confirmed case. The other is in isolation, recovering at home and is linked to another confirmed case.

There are now 53 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including five deaths, 186 in Kingman, with a total of 23 deaths there, 8 cases in “North County,” formerly referred to as “Other”(composed of a number of smaller Mohave County communities,)  and 23 in Bullhead City, including one death.  There are a total of 27 deaths in the county from the disease. Total positive cases, 260.
