Head-on crash kills one

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Traffic along Highway 95 was disrupted Friday morning by a head-on collision outside Lake Havasu City. Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves said the crash occurred about 9:30 a.m., near the junction with Interstate 40.

Preliminary information indicates a Honda minivan which was northbound swerved into traffic and struck a southbound Toyota Pickup,” Graves said. ?The driver of the pickup was deceased on scene. The driver of the van was flown to a Las Vegas area hospital with serious injuries.”

Graves said the name of the deceased is withheld pending notification of kin. The accident remains under investigation.
