KINGMAN – There will be a Tamale Festival and Car Show on Saturday, Oct. 7 Mohave County Fairgrounds. All makes and models are welcome. Prizes will be awarded at the show. CHLORIDE – The historic silver mining community of Chloride will again honor the memory of the hard rock miners who found silver, gold, and other precious minerals in the hills around Chloride. This year’s Old Miners’ Day will be celebrated Saturday, October 21 starting at 9 a.m. Among the activities planned are gunfights, horseshoe tournament, live music, vendors, gold panning, the always zany parade, and much more. KINGMAN – The 15th Annual Brews and Brats Oktoberfest, presented by the Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club, will take place Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7, at Metcalfe Park. Kingman’s original and longest running Oktoberfest, the Brews and Brats Oktoberfest will feature craft beer from Black Bridge Brewery, grilled bratwurst and sauerkraut, German pretzels, and other offerings. There will be live entertainment throughout the weekend, dancing, vendors, and fun! Admission is always free, and proceeds from this event go to the Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s Foundation, a 501c-3 non-profit foundation which supports service projects in our community and internationally.
