LAKE HAVASU CITY – Kiwanis doesn’t drop the ball when it comes to giving at their 47th annual Toys for Tots Golf Tournament, to be held Saturday, Dec. 2. Kiwanis stays active in improving the lives of local children.

Kiwanis has been a favorable significance in Mohave County by showing their support with a network of volunteers who are passionate about Kiwanis’s mission.

The group raises funds for local schools and families in need. This year’s tournament will be a four-person scramble offering first and second prizes for longest putt, longest drive, and closest to the pin.

There will be a ball drop, 50/50 drawing, and raffle prizes. More than 1,000 children are expected to be enrolled in this year’s Toys for Tots program in the Lake Havasu area.

A wrapped toy donation is requested of each golfer. Costs for participating golfers is $100 or $80  for Lake Havasu Golf Club.

Coffee and donuts will be available prior to tee off and lunch will be provided after the tournament ends.

Check in is at 6:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. at the Lake Havasu Golf Club. Once again, Kiwanis International will score at bringing Lake Havasu’s children in need a magical Christmas.
