KINGMAN – A deadly two-vehicle collision is under investigation by the Kingman Police Department. Deputy Police Chief Joel Freed said Lacey Lynn Gale, 19, Kingman, was fatally injured in the Wednesday incident in the area of Kino Ave. and Stockton Hill Rd.

Freed said officers responded at about 8:10 p.m. He said they determined that Gale was at Kino and turning left to proceed northbound on SHR when her SUV was struck by a southbound vehicle that did not stop for the red light at the well-traveled intersection by Starbucks.

“The damage to both vehicles was extensive and both drivers were injured,” Freed said. “Emergency personnel on scene conducted life saving measures on Gale prior to her being transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.”

Freed said the 20-year-old Kingman man driving the other vehicle was hospitalized for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
