LAKE HAVASU CITY – Talk about joy, when you come out and view the uniquely decorated boats of the Lake Havasu Holiday Boat Parade! Volunteers of The Bridge Lake Havasu will be bringing this yearly festive occasion back. The town’s tranquil lake will be overflowed with an invasion of dazzling boats beautifully lit with holiday cheer.

If you’re someone bursting with Christmas spirit and just so happen to own a boat, it’s not too late to enter this year’s celebration. Friday, Dec. 8 will be the last day to enter. The entry fee is $100 and you can enter your boat by visiting Parade of Lights Entry Form – The Bridge Lake Havasu City (thebridgelhc.com).

Step into seasonal memories because this year you can expect a little bit more audience participation. The Bridge Lake Havasu’s mascot Snickerdoodle will be on the loose for the spectator scavenger hunt. Rumor has it that Santa along with event organizers Shawn Lawless and JJ Gibbs, is offering ways for attendees to vote on the best looking boat.

VIP seating will be available as well so that you can take in all the magic with the best views of the parade. Saint Nick did not want to comment on the exact details of these occurrences, so it is suggested to reach out to the parade helper himself (Shawn Lawless) at 702-985-5457. There will be a limited free access viewing along with designated wood fire pits which will also be limited. All children must have an adult with them and it is strongly encouraged to not bring dogs.

The Holiday Boat Parade will be on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Bridgewater Channel. Although the boats make their sparkling debuts at 6 p.m., it is strongly suggested to arrive much earlier than that since this is a popular occasion known for getting pretty crowded early on.

The Lake Havasu Boat Parade is a way to give back to the community who has actively supported the parade since the beginning. However, this year the celebration has bigger goals in mind and has partnered up with The Firefighters Holiday Toy Drive. In collaboration with community Christmas programs, the Firefighters Holiday Toy Drive strives to provide fiscal aid, safety equipment, and toys to children and families in need.

Don’t forget to bring your friends and family to this year’s Holiday Boat Parade. It will be a radiant evening too spectacular to pass up.

Can’t make the parade?  You can now view it from the comfort of your own home by accessing any of their social media sites listed on the web page at Home – The Bridge Lake Havasu City AZ (thebridgelhc.com)
