LAKE HAVASU CITY – Fired Kingman City Manager Ron Foggin has taken a temporary job in Lake Havasu City. Foggin began serving as interim Public Works Director Monday after 25-year veteran Havasu employee Greg Froslie was apparently dismissed.
“It is best to adhere to city practice and refrain from providing any comments about any personnel matters,” Lake Havasu City Manager Jess Knudson said, essentially declining to clarify Froslie’s exit. Yet he said he finds Foggin capable of overseeing Public Works while the city conducts a nationwide search for a new Director.
“I am proud of our employees in the Public Works Department,” Knudson said. “Mr. Foggin is the right person to foster a team environment for our employees and set the standard that is necessary to provide our residents with quality services.”
The Kingman Council voted 6-1 to terminate Foggin’s employment in mid-August, some 3.5 months after finding him insubordinate, inflexible and lacking in transparency and communication.
