City of Kingman officials, including Mayor Ken Watkins and Councilmembers Shawn Savage and Smiley Ward, joined representatives from Nucor Corporation to celebrate the grand opening of Nucor’s new state-of-the-art melt shop located just outside Kingman in Mohave County.
President of Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club Becky Hill presented Lynn Kannianen from Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter a donation from the tips that were raised at the Rotary’s Octoberfest that was held October 3 and 4 at Metcalfe Park.
There will be two car shows this weekend in Kingman, which will each benefit a charitable cause.
I am writing as a Mohave County resident to bring to your attention what appears to be a fundamentally flawed and potentially corrupt procurement process surrounding the Medical Examiner contract.
The Hualapai Mountain Park’s Second Annual Gobble Wobble in the Pai’s 5k & 10k walk/run. This will be a scenic, multi-surface race through Hualapai Mountain Park in Kingman, with elevation gains of 530+ feet.
