Gary Michael Schofield

Gary Michael Schofield, born August 31, 1953, passed away after a short battle with lung cancer on May 19, 2023, in Kingman Arizona. Gary is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cathy Schofield, his children Eric, Stacy, and Jeremy and his eight grandsons, Wyatt, Kaden, Kieran, Gavin, Mylo, George, Charles, and Oliver.

Gary was born in Manchester, New Hampshire to parents Cecile and Stella Schofield. Raised in a military family with his siblings, Keith who preceded him in death, Brenda, and Lynn. He lived in many parts of the country as part of a military family, but spent several years in Long Beach, California and Seattle, Washington and, most recently, retiring in Kingman Arizona.

Gary was a devoted father and grandfather, spending many days on the baseball field coaching and watching his children and grandsons play. Gary loved traveling with family, some of his favorite destinations included Koln, Germany and Kona, Hawaii. Gary’s passionate personality and quick wit will be deeply missed by his family.
