BHC Mayor celebrates historic land deal

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Mayor Steve D’Amico visited the Governor’s office to celebrate the signing of HB 2375 alongside State Representative Leo Biasiucci, and Bullhead City Assistant Managers Travis Pruitt and Edigar Karjirwa.
“This historic bill transfers almost 10 acres of riverfront, state-sovereign land, spread across five parcels, to the City of Bullhead City,” said D’Amico. “The City has been leasing the land from the state every year for thousands of dollars. This bill benefits everyone by saving government time and resources.”
The bill, which was sponsored by House Majority Leader Leo Biasiucci (R-Lake Havasu City) and co-sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Sonny Borrelli (R-Lake Havasu City) and Rep. John Gillette (R-Kingman), passed the Arizona House and Senate with unanimous bipartisan support.
