Growing Vegetables presentation open to the public

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Master Gardeners invites residents to join them for a library presentation on Growing Vegetables. The presentation will be held Thursday, May 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Mohave County Library, Bullhead City branch, 1170 E. Hancock Rd.

Guest speaker, Dr. Angela O’Callaghan, from the University of Nevada will discuss summer crops that can be grown in the desert and which crops you can prepare to plant in the fall. This presentation is part of her “Gardening in Small Spaces” series and focuses on growing vegetables on a small scale, such as in containers or raised beds.
