No injuries in residential attic fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – At approximately 5:14 p.m. on Tuesday, May, 2, an attic fire was reported by neighbors in the 3300 block of Desert Dr. The neighbors discovered smoke coming from an unoccupied residence. The first arriving fire company reported smoke coming from the attic vents and front eves. Five Engine Companies, one Medic Unit, one Investigator and one Battalion Chief responded to the fire and gained control of the fire in approximately 40 minutes.

There were no reported injuries to the firefighters or citizens. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
