Pavement work on State Route 66 in Peach Springs scheduled Feb. 20 through June

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for brief traffic delays when pavement work begins along a 23-mile section of State Route 66 north of Kingman in Peach Springs.
Work will occur Mondays through Thursdays starting at 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20 through 5 p.m. Thursday, June 22:
* SR 66 will be reduced to one lane only of alternating east- and westbound travel between Hackberry and Diamond Creek roads (mileposts 81 – 104).
* On-site flaggers will direct drivers through the work zone.
* A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
* The speed limit will be reduced.
ADOT advises drivers to be prepared to slow down in the work zone while crews apply a pavement sealant to the roadway.
