SUMMER CALHOUN
Summer Calhoun, 32 years old, passed away on November 30 in Mesa, AZ due to medical complications. She was born in Lake Havasu City on August 4, 1991 to Johnny Calhoun and Lisa Downey. Summer was a member of the 2010 Kingman Academy of Learning graduating class.
Summer never met a stranger she couldn’t talk to until they asked her name. She gave great hugs to friends, family and anyone needing a hug. She also was a homebody, not wanting to sleep anywhere but her “perfectly good bed.”
Summer is preceded in death by her father, grandparents Bob and Carolyn Pilkington, Johnny Calhoun and Brenda Little. She is survived by mother Lisa Downey and step-dad Eric, sister Tera (Tony) Lang (Paulsen), nieces Anna and Zoe, brother Johnny Calhoun and little sister Candy.
