Mohave Valley man charged with sex offenses

MOHAVE VALLEY – A Mohave Valley man faces various sex offense charges involving the young daughter of a former girlfriend. Investigation began when authorities learned the girl, now a teenager, alleged she was repeatedly violated when seven years old, six years ago when her mom was dating Clark Shreves.

“Shreves was interviewed by detectives on November 18 regarding the molestation allegations,” said Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. “A search warrant was executed on Shreves’ phone and items of evidentiary value were located on the phone to substantiate the allegations.”

Shreves, 51, was arrested and booked into the Adult Detention Center for child molestation. The county attorney’s office tacked on additional sexual exploitation and sexual conduct with a minor charges.
